YSI
6200 Data Acquisition Systems
The YSI 6200 Data Acquisition System (DAS) manages sensor sampling,
data buffering, and cellular and radio telemetry to a base station.
A YSI 6200 DAS may be installed on a buoy or on shore. When needed,
a YSI 6200 DAS also serves as a radio repeater for a more distant
YSI 6200 DAS in the network. Easily interfaced with YSI's 6-Series
Multiparameter Monitoring Systems, the YSI 6200 DAS are shore-based
and buoy-based systems that are weather-tight and self-contained.

YSI Base Stations
YSI base stations use standard IBM-compatible PCs to control one or
more (up to 99) data collection platforms (DCPs). The base station
communicates with DCPs via networks, radio telemetry, and cellular
telephone.

YSI EcoWatch
DCPTM for Windows
YSI EcoWatch DCPTM software allows real-time data
acquisition using two-way radio, RF modem, cellular modem (AMPS, CDMA,
GSM), or land line modem communications to perform all setup operations,
adjustment, and data collection for remote environmental monitoring
of multiple locations. Standard capabilities include alarming, control,
and compatibility with a broad range of sensors. Contact Roger

YSI Floating
Platforms
YSI Floating platforms provide mounting for solar panels, battery
packs, telemetry and data acquisition electronics, antenna, meteorological
sensors, mooring assembly, and a collision lamp.
YSI EMM550 Environmental Monitoring Module provides 550 lbs. of
buoyancy for monitoring in lakes, rivers and coastal areas. The
redesigned 550 buoy has more freeboard and greater load capacity;
this means more equipment can safely be stowed on board. With the
increased height of our new Stainless Steel tripod we can affix
larger solar panels and get the antenna higher for better communications.
The Ionomer foam hull is non sinkable, and the entire framework
is Stainless steel. The Stainless watertight compartment is O-ring
sealed and has waterproof connectors for the electronics and re-charable
batteries. The extremely strong densified foam outer skin can withstand
significant impact yet the foam hull is resilient enough to avoid
damages, to the buoy and to the deploying vessel.
The 550 and the 700 buoy are easy to handle and can be deployed
from most small vessels.
YSI EMM800 Environmental Monitoring Module provides 800 lbs. of
buoyancy for monitoring in large lakes, reservoirs and coastal areas.
YSI EMM2000 Environmental Monitoring Module provides 2000 lbs.
of buoyancy for monitoring in large lakes, reservoirs and coastal
ocean areas that require full ocean capability.

Solar powered flashing light one meter above the spherical buoy,
self contained and automatically flashes when dark
3" diameter Aluminum sch. 40 pipe allows a YSI 600XLM sonde down
to one meter below the water line. Also provides stable keel to
attach mooring
30 " Diameter foam filled buoy, unsinkable, with a hard polyethylene
outer skin, for abrasion resistance.
5 foot long keel /stem with 28 pound counter weight at the bottom
keeps the buoy system upright and stable

Underwater Vehicles and Cables
YSI's V-Fins are stable lightweight towed underwater vehicles for
deploying a variety of instrumentation. Rugged fiberglass and stainless
steel construction assures years of successful towing in the harsh
